Stag Owners Website

Stag Owner Blair Stonehouse has been working very hard and Blair has put together our very own Australian Stag Owners Website. The website will be released as a test to let the Members view the new format. All the names from the Stag Forum e-mail list that I control have been added to the new website. Please review the site and see if it will work for you.

Your comments will be appreciated. Comments can be posted at the bottom of these posts (scroll down). I will be retiring from the workforce in Jan 2017 and I believe this is the way to go and Blair has been terrific in getting this all together. If you would like your Stag to feature in this website please send photos and/or story, at this stage to the site admin via our contact page. We are about to move into the 21st Century.

Cheers,
Graeme Oxley

Well done Graeme and Blair,

I'll be glad to contribute a photo or two and an article in a few days time to enhance the reputation of the Stag, which for over thirty-six years and around 500,000 kms, I have been combating against all the detrimental comments from cynics, tyre-kickers, know-alls and morons.

Hello Blair,
I hope you received an article I sent with photos to Graeme Oxley, who has forwarded to you, as I could not seem to send it directly. If not please advise and I'll try to do it again and perhaps in a different format.
Regards Ron

Thank you all for the positive feedback. There are a few teething problems that I hope to have sorted shortly. Any notes on typos or suggestions on improved functionality will be appreciated

Hi Blair,
Fantastic effort on your part!!
Ron Mills I am one of those know-all morons you refer to so lovingly LOL
The Stag is beautiful in theory but suffers from many faults in reality.
Yes yours has given fabulous service, but its really not typical and the Stag was another victim of the British motor industry of the 70's. Having said that I always wanted one and love mine to bits despite its condition and peccadillos.
Cheers

Leon, You may be a cynic, but surely not a moron or you would be driving something with two pink fluffy dice swinging off the rear view mirror, leopard skin seat covers and an advertising sign on the back window seeking a little deer with doe. More lol.

Blair website is great, I have just fitted the two BL badges to the front wings of my restoration and found the website info on badge position invaluable. Decided to go non standard with the side stripes and have fitted body mouldings hoping they will give additional protection in angle parking

Hi Guys;
Is that the same Graham Oxley I met in Melbourne while over there between '99/2003? I could be wrong. This page looks like a great initiative.
