Targa Stag

Received an e-mail from Bruce Pollock in WA and he is heading over for this year’s Targa Tasmania. Bruce has a small window where he can catch up with us on the 6th April which is a Wednesday. He will be about half way between Bacchus Marsh and Gisborne.

I know it is a fair way off but to get a photo of Bruce’s car with a lot of Victorian Stags would be very nice. Initial planning is for everyone to meet at the McDonalds in Bacchus Marsh at 1 PM. Please let me know if you would like to meet up with one hot Stag (and Bruce) Refer to Richard Pye’s e-mail below on his Header Tank which sits near the battery.

Cheers,
Graeme

Graeme – can you forward please,

I had a header tank made by Melb Radiators and a high-efficiency core installed in the original radiator. They pick up the air bleed at the top of the radiator and feed it back into the pipe that goes from the bottom of the radiator to the water pump. I put it on the drivers side due to the factory air.

I have also done the head modification at Fairfield motors.
The car has no issues in 40+ C in stop-start traffic.

Regards,
Richard
